Since the appraiser makes their decision from the street, there are a limited number of things upon
which to base an opinion.
They can see
1. Exterior wall
2. Roof
3. Foundation
4. A/C compressor, Heat pump
5. Other things such as Swimming pool, etc.
It seems a stretch to base the interior condition on when the lawn was mowed or how well the
grounds are kept? Are our tax bills actually determined by lawn mowing habits?
The detailed knowledge of how this is done must be documented somewhere otherwise it could not
be passed on.
